Build a Strong Foundation for Success
The dynamic Master’s in Epidemiology curriculum prepares you for impactful work in epidemiology and emphasizes health equity and the role of community-based research. Our core courses cover fundamentals in epidemiology, understanding health disparities research and provide scientifically grounded training in theory, policy and research. You can choose one of three specialized areas for your concentration and thesis focus. By developing scientific skills in epidemiology, theory, policy research and universal methodologies, you’ll gain what you need to make a genuine impact in the field and people’s lives.

For example, many students work with faculty at the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Prevention on programs focused on early detection in underserved communities across our city.
