Master in Epidemiology students’ tuition charges are based on the number of credit hours for which the student is enrolled. Georgetown has a number of optional and mandatory fees – for an up-to-date listing of these fees, please visit the Tuition & Fees page.
The total number of credits required for our degree is 34. Full-time students take 10 and 11 credits their first year of school, and 7 and 6 credits for the second year, finishing within 2 years. Part-time students generally take 6-8 credits per semester and finish within 3 years.
Tuition per credit for 2025-2026: $2,652.00
Tuition for full-time first year students in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026: $55,692 ($2,652 x 21 credits)
For the Fall 2026 cycle and beyond, we are transitioning to the Biomedical Graduate Education in Georgetown School of Medicine, and so, we will adhere to BGE Tuition & Fees. There is a full-time, per-semester flat rate for students taking 12 credits or more in a semester, and a part-time, per-credit rate for students taking fewer than 12 credits.

Financial Aid
Scholarships: Beginning with the Fall 2026 cycle, incoming Epidemiology students are eligible for Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) scholarships based on merit and service. Scholarship applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and awarded subject to funding availability, so we recommend that you apply as soon as possible after submitting your program application. BGE also offers merit-based scholarships to a limited number of Master of Science students based on programs’ recommendations.
